Jorge Posada is retiring… my favorite original Yankee… I am sooo sad. <3
I grew up watching the Yankees and I will be a Yankee fan forever.. But, as I grew watching these people on TV, and loving the sport.. the older they got. Today one of my favorite players of all time has retired.
I went from watching my Yankee heroes bring the World Series to New York countless times… O’Neal, Williams, Rivera, Posada, Jeter and Petite…
Now there are only 2 left that have yet to retire. Those men will always be the Yankees I grew up with. <3
Posada, you sir, will be missed.
